Stat "Set %"

Hi,

how can I make a stat that shows the percentage of times I flopped a set?? The stat would be like the one in the HEM.

I've tried several formulas but they are all wrong.

There's a report in the repository that should have flopped set percentage; once you have the stat from there you can use it elsewhere - unless that's the one that wasn't working for you?

I know that report, but it shows a ratio, not a percentage.

However, the stat from the repository doesn't work for the holdem cash player statistics section. I'm trying to create a column that counts the holecards ONLY when I have pocket pair, but it counts ALL hands I have in my database.

Looks like this:

When I use the report, shows 62 flopped sets on 975 sampled times I have pocket pairs. But when I use the stats, shows 220 flopped sets on ALL hands.

I think the formula would be: (total pocket pairs seeing flop / total flopped sets) * 100, but I don't know how to create them.

I thought the stat "Flopped Set Percentage" was in that report; I guess it was somewhere else.

Then create a stat that puts the latter over the former, multiply by 100 and you should be good to go.

I realized than the report takes all the situations, even you see the flop or not. That's why there was a difference between the report and the stat.

i use the following stat from repository:
Set % (x/y), Author: Ferwan, Cash, Date: Oct. 07, 2009
and seems to works fine.

for a very large sample (979,251 hands) i have this stat showing 10.85% (3678 / 33910)

as far as i know the math says the odds for a hole pair flopping a set (or quads) are 11.75510204 %

can you please check in the repository if the custom stat specified above counts only flopping exactly sets or also quads?

maybe thats why the difference between 10.85% and 11.75%

if my assumption is right please help me to modify this custom stat accordingly, or even better upload a new one in the repository

That's only exactly sets. It doesn't count full houses or quads.

To add in full houses and quads, edit cnt_pp_saw_flop_with_set to read as follows:

ok.

now please tell me how to differentiate between full-houses where flop is XXX.

in other words i want to not include the situations where hole pair is 'PP' and flop is 'XXX' and therefore counts as a full house BUT include those full-houses like hole is 'PP' and flop is 'PXX'

i need this because i want my stat to show exactly the situations when at least one 'P' card (or two) is flopped.

When you have a full house and holdem_hand_player_combinations.id_f_hand_strength >= 6, the board does not contain trips on the flop.
